Rural Growth Centers (RGCs) is a flagship initiative of the Project Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU), launched under the Poverty Reduction Strategy, with support from the PAIDAR Programme and funding from the European Union (EU).
This initiative is designed to bring integrated rural development closer to local communities by:
Expanding economic opportunities for micro and small enterprises
Improving access to essential services such as schools, hospitals, markets, and public facilities
Strengthening rural livelihoods through community-led progress and local support programs
📍 The first pilot project is being implemented in Chuhar Jamali (Sujawal), while full-scale rollout will take place at the following Rural Growth Centers:
RGC / Rural Service Hub – Ghora Bari, Vur & Garho (District Thatta)
RGC Talhar – District Badin
RGC Chachro – District Tharparkar
RGC Naudero – District Larkana
Each center will serve as a hub for local economic activity, connecting rural populations with services, skills, and opportunities that promote self-reliance and growth.
